This year I've been busy!

Last Friday I bought porn for miesbaroness (-10 points). Last week electronique and I donated clothes to the needy (11 points). In April I ruled Duluth, Minnesota as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points). In July I set bellavioletta's puppy on fire (-66 points). Last Sunday I put gum in xhotwingsx's hair (-12 points).

Overall, I've been nice (623 points). For Christmas I deserve a red Radio-Flyer wagon!

Subject: THERMODYNAMICS OF HELL

The following is reported to be an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry midterm. The answer by one student was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues via the Internet, which is how we have the pleasure of enjoying it as well.

Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat), or endothermic (absorbs heat)?

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools off when it expands, and heats up when it is compressed), or some variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:
First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate that souls are moving into Hell and the rate they are leaving. I think we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.
As for how many souls are entering Hell, let?s look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there are more than one of these religions, and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell.
With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added. This gives two possibilities:
1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at
which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and
pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks
loose; or
2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of
souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will
drop until Hell freezes over.
So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Ms. Teresa Banyan during my Freshman year, ".....that it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you", and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then, #2 cannot be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and will not freeze.?

The student received the only "A" given.

Well, I went to the doctor again today. They still do not know what is up with me...? They did blood work AGAIN only to proove that the medicine they had me on was not working very well. So, what did they do? They doubled to dosage. That is all fine and dandy, the only catch is the meds cost 300.00 after insurance. If it works, I can only bank roll that for so long. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I am just sick and tired of being sick and tired. I am ready to get back to being my normal self.

Did nothing today cept clean up the place a bit. I am thinking of painting the concrete floor of my porch. I am having trouble picking a color though. Ultimately, I would love to put wooden planks down to make it look like and actual deck. Paint cost about 22.00/gallon, wood cost about 480.00. Right now, that speaks for itself.

Tonight will be a lazy night. The wife and I are going to head downstairs for some sushi and then probably just lounge around the hizouse. I do have a few work items that need attention. I have been putting them off and they can wait no longer.

I returned to San Diego today from Orlando. I was there for a few days for a gig. Too bad I did not have the chance to hit the town at all...May be next time!? The last night I was there tirent and I did get to Outbackit which was cool.

I have a few days at home before I am off to San Francisco for yet another gig.

As for tonight, I am going to watch a few episodes of CSI that I Tivo'd and hit the hay...

Pretty much a boring day here. I spent the morning cleaning up the place. For those of you who don't know me, I am a neat freak. I have to have things clean, neat, and in place and the wife...well....she does not. It is a full-time job picking up all the little piles left around the place. Ahhh yes, and at some point, I have to do laundry. I have been avoiding it like the plague since I returned from the honeymoon. If I don't get it done soon, I will get going commando for sure.

Not much to report. tirent and I really have to finalize plans for getting to Germany. The hotel is in place, my ticket to Orlando, where I will meet up with tirent along with a rental car is finalized, we just need the big ticket to Yermany. I will hopefully get that arranged on Monday.

It is just a lazy day....

I made it to New Orleans. I did not want to leave home. The weather was awesome. Not to mention, I have been a lazy bastard for the last two months and did not want to go back to work.

Today we started setting up for a concert and everything that could go wrong did go wrong today. Just one of those days...

I sleep like shit last night and am not really tired tonight....but I know that if I don't hit the sack soon, tomorrow morning is going to suck! Yet, tirent and I continue chatting back and forth....

I am whoopped!

Made back to Cali this evening around 10:30pm PST. As you could probably tell from tIrent's post earlier in the week that the wedding went just fine! I was really please with the whole affair! I have to give props to tIrent regarding his toast. He was fantastic! It was funny with a serious side (choked me up a bit). What and incredible friend.

The honeymoon left a little to be desired. The misses and I went on a 7-day cruise out of Tampa. We went to Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Belize. It rained 6 out of the 7 days, Julie got sick the second day in, and the whole thing was, for lack of a better term, cheesy. I would not recommend a cruise unless you got with a big group....

I leave tomorrow afternoon for New Orleans. I have a gig but will be returning home Friday. I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed!

Well, more to come, but for now, I am off to bed.
